another moment in season four that led me to think they were going to let Lee and Kara have what they'd earned.

It was a gorgeous interaction for them.

Definetely a top three favorite scene. Even now I find it hard to accept that after such declaration the writers still chose to end things between Kara and Lee the way they did. I just can't get over it. I really wanted my happy ending, damn it!
