‘click click click’ were the only sounds resounding through the entire room. The weather outside was cold and wet, a mixture that the taller didn’t liked, but with his kind of job it was the perfect atmosphere, since it became everything silence.
“Would you like a cup of coffee or you prefer tea?”
“Coffee, please” He responded without keeping his eyes away from the laptop.
“Okay, then it means it will be tea for me” Siwon smiled widely as his wife handed him a small cup of coffee and sat beside him, snuggling by his side as she tried read what he had just typed on his laptop.
“What are you writhing now?” Siwon gave a little sip to his coffee and set it on the Centre table, bringing his now free hand behind her wife to hug her.
“I still don’t know…”
“What do you mean you don’t know? Then what have you been writing about this whole time?” She smiled and gave a sip to his cup of tea.
“For some reason I think I am writing a love story; or at least that’s what I think I am doing”
“Really?” He nodded and started to read what he wrote, trying to find some sense in his writing, but it looked like there were only fragments of sentences, kind of like brain storming.
He sighed and closed his laptop, grabbing his cup of coffee, warming his cold fingers with the heat from the ceramic cup as he gave a small sip to the hot drink.
“I don’t know what is happening to me, I haven’t been able to write anything”
“Just relax and the ideas are going to flow in your mind” She smiled and kissed his shoulder.
She Knew how stressed he had been with the call he received a week ago from the editorial where he works as a novelist.
.
.
.
They wanted to start with a new book for this coming Year and since Siwon was one of the favorite novelists of the editorial house, with many of his books sold, they decided to come out with a new book from him. Siwon was more than glad to hear that news, but the pressure of writing a new book in such a short time was driving him crazy, besides, they also asked for him to write something new, something that he wasn’t use to, a love story.
.
.
.
“Don’t worry darling; like I told you, sometimes you just need to wait” Tiffany repeat it, setting her cup of tea next to Siwon’s coffee and turning Siwon’s head towards her to kiss him on the lips.
It didn’t take long until Siwon responded to her kiss, the kisses and necking that lead to a make out session that ended on their bedroom.
.
.
Siwon was so glad to have lovely wife like Tiffany. She always found a way to cheer him up when he was having a trouble, a bad day, or when he was passing through an author’s block just like now. Sometimes he asked himself if he had done something good in his past life to have someone like her. Their love story was almost like one of those fairy tales you read on a book and after they got married everything went even better. There was no way those two love birds will ever get apart or at least that was what Siwon thought until something changed his life, a decision that would turn his ideal marriage to a living hell.
.
.
It was still cold and rainy, and some drops of the rain on the window made little lines just like a spider web connecting with each other; making a beautiful tray that decorated the windows of the house. The weather outside hadn’t changed at all and Siwon was the same. He still had a tough time trying to think of something to write and staring at the laptop’s screen didn’t make any better, it only showed that he hasn’t write anything jet. He didn’t know why he wasn’t able to write. He tried to blame the weather first; then the silence of the house, and last, the call that Tiffany received from her mom yesterday.
.

.
(Flash back)
She looked worry after her mother called and when the call ended she rushed out of the house without telling Siwon anything until she came late at night. Her face showed concern; sadness and even anger, something that he wasn’t use to see in her lovely wife.
.
.
“Is something wrong?” He saw the expression on her face and since her mother wasn’t the kind of mother in law that called every week or month he knew from the start that something was wrong.
.
.
“Mom needs to go to the hospital…” She took off her coat and walked to kitchen, grabbing a wine glass and opening a bottle of wine.
Siwon walked to the kitchen but stopped at the door frame. Tiffany was crying silently, drinking the rest of the wine from the glass and pouring more wine in it. She gave a little sip to her glass again and then looked at Siwon. He knew that Tiffany and her mother weren’t that close, but there was no doubt how much she cared about her, she loved her mother.
.
.
“Siwon… I am sorry but I need to bring my brother here”
“Your brother? Do you mean Yesung?”
“Yeah… you know that my mother is sick and she needs to be on the hospital but she doesn’t want to go because she doesn’t want to leave Yesung alone. So I told her that I was going to take care of him while she gets hospitalize…”
“Honey, there isn’t any problem about that, you can bring him here, I mean, I barely know him but I know what you and your brother are passing through right now. So of course he can come and stay”
“Thank you, I swear he will not bother you at all” Siwon smiled at her and she ran to his direction and hugged him.
(End of flash back)

The last time he saw Tiffany’s brother was on their wedding and it was definitely a while ago. He didn’t remember much about him, but Tiffany always avoided going to her mother’s house. He didn’t know the reason why she never wanted to visit her or talk about her or even her brother, but he always decided to not ask, but now that he knew that Tiffany was going to come with her brother made him nervous.
.
.
After the wedding, on the after party, he didn’t see him at all, tiffany mother was there but he was sure that he didn’t see her brother anywhere. He thought that he didn’t like him for marring his sister. So now that he was going to have to live here for a while made Siwon a little bit nervous. Maybe that was also one of the things that also didn’t let him write.
.
.
He was still trying to concentrate on his laptop again when he heard a noise and the front door opened. He was sitting on the couch in the living room so he looked at the entrance and Tiffany was entering with a small red suitcase on her left hand. She smiled when she notice Siwon and send him a flying kiss which the other was also going to returned it when he notice someone behind her. It was Tiffany’s brother, Yesung. He was taller than her wife but not as taller as him. He was dressing in a military gray coat and deep blue jeans, but what really got Siwon’s attention was that he was wearing sunglasses, sunglasses on a rainy day. He immediately got up from the couch, regretting for met her brother in law in some loose pants and a plain white shirt, he headed to the main door and helped Tiffany with the suitcase. Tiffany handed him the suitcase and moved to the side to let her brother get in. He gave some step inside the house but stopped almost in front of Siwon. The taller stepped back a little, cleared his throat and said.
“It has been a while since the last time I see you” He extended his hand to Yesung but the other didn’t move, he just stood there without saying anything.
Tiffany poked his brother’s ribs with her elbow and laughed a little.
“Yesung, Siwon is extending his hand in hope that you will do the same and shake his hand”
The tone was almost scolding but the raven didn’t get mad, or at least that was what Siwon thought because then he smirked and guided both of his hands to Siwon’s face, caressing his checks and then wandering his hands in the other’s eyelids; feeling the texture of his skin, the shape of his nose and ending in his philtrum. Siwon’s eyes widened at the act but didn’t move he just stood there, looking how those little hands touched his face softly, with no intentions of hammering.
.
.
Tiffany pulled the collar of Yesung’s coat to keep him away from Siwon, yelling something about have manners and act like a normal human being, but Yesung’s smile never left his face for a second.
.
.
“Too sorry I can’t say the same as you do” He took off his glasses and Siwon had to bring a hand to his mouth, he forgot about that incident. He couldn’t take away his gaze from Yesung’s eyes; they were kind of a light gray but with no irises.
“I-I so-sorry, I forgot that you-”
“Are blind? Don’t worry, I always remember that every time I wake up. Also, thank you for letting me stay here for some days, I will try to not be a bother for you and my sister” He vowed and Tiffany then grabbed his arm and lead him to the room that she arranged for him.
Siwon looked how Tiffany was almost pulling him through the hall while Yesung was walking by her side, with unsure steps until they finally reach the room where Yesung was going to stay. After some minutes she came out of the room, alone, and Siwon was concerned what he said had made Yesung mad. So when his wife walked to his direction he immediately apologize to her.
.
.
He remembered that Yesung had a disability that tiffany’s mom had to take care of him, but since the only time he meets him was on their wedding, he forgot that he was blind. And he was feeling guilty because obviously, you don’t forget about someone being blind.
.
.
“Is your brother mad? Can I go and tell him that I am sorry? It really wasn’t my intention to say that and I-” She pressed her index finger on Siwon’s lips, and smiled.
“He isn’t mad at you, you just need to understand his way of humor” He nodded and Tiffany left him to go to the kitchen to prepare dinner since it was already too late.
When Tiffany finished with dinner he set the table for two and when Siwon asked if Yesung was going to eat with them she said that he told her earlier the he wasn’t hungry and wanted to sleep. Siwon felt kind of bad about that, he still had that feeling that Yesung was mad at him and for that, he didn’t wanted to eat with them.
.
.
.
Dinner was too quiet, so Siwon tried to change the mood and asked something.
"How is your mom?” The question made her fork fall into her plate with a loud sound.
“I… don’t know… The doctor just told me that she needed to be hospitalized to make some tests. They think it could be something but he wants to clarify some things before telling me what she has…” He nodded and continued.
“But how do you see her? I mean, did she looks like she is in pain?”
“I don’t know… she is one of those people that knows how to handle pain, but I think she isn’t feeling that well since she when to the doctor” Her tone was cold, and she was avoiding Siwon’s gaze during all the conversation.
She then stood up, taking her plate with her, and walked to the sink to leave her plate.
“It is your turn to do the dishes… I am going to bed. I want to go to the hospital tomorrow morning; I don’t want her to wake up and see nobody by her side…” Siwon knew how sad she was and wanted to tell her something but then she left, leaving him there, alone.

It was 2 A.M when Siwon felt kind of thirsty and decided to go to the kitchen for water. Rising from the bed slowly to not wake up Tiffany, he made his way through the hall and then the kitchen.
.
.
When he finally got into the kitchen he didn’t bother to turn on the lights since the light from the moon that came from the big windows of the kitchen illuminated most of his view. He went to the fridge and took a bottle of water, feeling relived as the cold liquid calmed his dry throat. He was so distracted drinking that he didn’t notice someone else in the kitchen until he finished the bottle and on his way to throw it on the trashcan he notice a dark silhouette sitting on one of the chairs of the breakfast island.
.
.
He could felt his whole body turning cold as fear started to invaded him, he knew that his head may be playing with him and it was all part of his imagination. So he walked slowly to the switch to turn on the lights and confirm his hypothesis, but when he was getting near the switch he heart the silhouette talk.
.
.
“Are you leaving?” He though he recognized the voice so he turned the lights on and discovered Yesung.
He was eating an apple.
“Jesus… You almost took out the shit out of me. I didn’t know you were here…” He palmed his rising heart through his chest to calm it a little.
He forgot that a blind person doesn’t turn on the lights.
“Sorry, that was never my intention. I just got hungry and went here to find something to eat” Yesung smiled, making Siwon smile as he sat next to him, he was glad to see him smiling again.
He looked how he kept eating his apple, with his eyes closed and chewing what was on his mouth in a funny way. The formal Yesung that he saw on the morning all gone as he was wearing some loose black pants and an over washed red shirt.
ldquo; That happened because you didn’t wanted to eat what my wife made for dinner, her food is delicious you know?” Siwon grabbed one of the apples that was on a bowl on the center of the kitchen island and gave it a bite.
Yesung took the apple away from his mouth and lowered to his lap, holding it with both hands.
“I didn’t judge her cooking skills, but I don’t like to eat something when they didn’t invite me, also, sorry for taking this apple without permission” Siwon didn’t understood what he said.
“Didn’t invite you? But Tiffany told me that you didn’t want to eat…”
“If that’s so… I don’t blame her. She must be still mad at me”
“Mad? Why?” Yesung stood up and waked to the kitchen’s door frame but stopped for a second.
“Like she said, I don’t want to bother both of you, I will go to my room now” Siwon also stood up and went to his direction, grabbing his shoulder to stop him again at the almost dark living room, stopping in front of the glass doors that lead to the back yard
“Wait, Yesung… You are not bothering us at all. Please don’t feel like that”
“I am not gonna stay here for too long, after my mom gets out of the hospital, I will go with her and everything will be back to normal, but thanks for caring. I really appreciate that. You seem so different from my sister…” Yesung place his hand over Siwon’s hand and looked at him, opening his eyes and letting Siwon see his light gray eyes that seemed to shine under the light of the moon.
The raven took Siwon’s hand off his shoulder and stared to walk again, walking slowly and extending his arms to feel what was around him
.
.
Siwon was confused about what he said a while ago. He couldn’t believe what he said about her wife and didn’t understand the last part that he said.
“You seem so different from my sister…”
.
.
He didn’t understand his words at the moment but that day he discovered one thing. His lovely wife wasn’t that lovely, or at least not anymore…
