It's been a long time, I know. I'm hopeless, mea maxima culpa. Real life has had to be a little too real for a little too long, and in between work and illness, I haven't written a word in six months

It's lovely to see such a generous response. If you go read E&A and still want to volunteer, let me know?
I can give you manicure reports if you'd prefer, though ;) Not that there's much to say. It's cold, dry, and I work in a game store: I don't exactly HAVE fingernails. At least, not for long.
At any rate, thank you. I never got back to you on your last comment here. I never got back to a lot of people. I plan to bribe you all to return me to grace with fic. Let's hope I can live up to that!
I'll take a look at E&A tonight, after the kiddies go to sleep. :0) Send it on! But, you know, don't feel like you have to have me beta just 'cause I was the first to raise my hand - you've got a lot of good offers here! ;0P
No need for bribery - you never fell from grace, dearie. Hope your health is improving/improved!
I don't think life intervened so much as my stubborn, unco-operative brain. I hate feeling useless at things, and if I didn't post, then I didn't have to think about my lousy inability to write more than a sentence that pleased me.
I can completely sympathise with lack of time. There's never enough , and then there's so much that it drives you mad... no such thing as a happy medium!
So very true! I am looking forward to the last of these deadlines so that I might actually revisit the fics I'm writing for pure pleasure; not that the fics I'm working on at the moment are not for pleasure, but I would like to work on something that doesn't have a deadline. :)
Deadlines are killers to me. The minute the pressure is on with regards to a story, my muse takes perverse pleasure in going away for a few days holiday =P
coming soon, dear one. I got called in to work today and will be going in again tomorrow, and haven't had time to finish up the last bit, but I'll send it soon. Sorry for the delay.

So good to see you, and you know we'd happily read you nattering on about your fingernails, fic or no! ;0P
Happy to beta, though I will have to go back and refresh my memory of E&A (oh, such torture! *g*)
..and, you know, life is all always unfinished business. :0) I have to try and remind myself that all the time.

I'm quite happy to beta, though I can sometimes get quite... thorough. ;) And I'll vouch for indigo419's beta abilities. She is AMAZING.

I may take you up on your offer, too - though rather I would love your help on a different task. I'll PM you about that though =)
Thank you!
