So. Last night, doing my usual screwed sleep cycle, I happened to be awake at the right time to see the unheralded return of Battlestar Galactica to commercial Australian television. Is it permissible / likely that two people who haven't seen each other in five months and who had only one night together previously would dive straight back into bed?

I think it depends on the timing. If they see each other before the end of the world - maybe. Once the attacks happen - given that they're warriors, I don't see them seeking comfort (at least not immediately) in apocalypse!sex.

Fan answer: Yes! Of course!! Contra!Kara and Contra!Lee will immediately fall into each other's arms and commence with the frakking! :0)

Well, that's kind of the issue, isn't it? Post Cylons, they won't have a lot of time to make with the pretty!pilot!sex, so... to tide them over, so to speak? *Grins*

The hard part is actually deciding whether or not sex will add to the poignancy of what happens later... and I guess you can't really help me with that, given the fact that it isn't written yet! *teases a bit*

I'll try and have it sorted out by next week.

Hmm. At this point, their relationship is almost entirely physical, and they've had five months to work themselves into a frenzy. I can see them thinking they're going to be smart about things, then dive straight into bed anyway. It's the only way they've connected thus far, so sex would be their "default". That said, a lot will depend upon what happens in the phone conversation at the end of part 8. If they use that to establish an emotional footing to go forward with a potential relationship, they might be overly cautious and delay sex for at least a little while. I'm happy with either scenario, as long as they come eventually. ;)

And yay for gifts and robes! I vote for teal, just because it's a fairly uncommon color.

I *love* teal. I went out last week with a birthday voucher and invested in some silky teal unmentionables from BNT; there's nothing quite so nice as brand new lingerie, is there?

The other good thing about teal is it is an in-between dark / light colour. I think I've made up my mind.

Re: Contraventions... Lee had every intention of sleeping with Kara when he saw her again... and I don't think she'd object. But the circumstances are going to make things a little more difficult, and I'm still prevaricating over which way to push things. I'll sort things out, but you're right. Sex would be the easy option for them at this point.

Like others, I think that it is plausible for them to fall into bed, but I think once the Cylons attack and they have to get on their jobs, they wouldn't necessarily do so, until things calmed down a bit.
