1) Yeah. Tibah and Naeem were a total surprise to me. I had a completely different plan for that one, which went off the rails as soon as Naeem started singing. I knew I'd be invoking the black plague from the beginning, but I really, really wanted to give them a happy ending

Yeah, but I think that's just something that really adds to them and their relationship. It's depressing, yeah, but it really adds... just, something more to them.

1)Daamin would have been a ridiculously adorable kid if Tibah and Naeem had raised him. He'd end up with a herd of cats, Colin and Dick's incarnations as babysitters, and about fifty thousand people making marriage suits to his parents.

Wow, Australian history in a Bat!verse fic. Colour me amazed and kinda squeeful, even though the event depicted was pretty damn ugly and the cause of many, many problems here today. :(

The Stolen Generation was the second setting I came up with. I saw 'Rabbit Proof Fence' when I was ten during an international film showing a nearby movie theater was having. It really stuck with me.
