*happy dance of DOOM* YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! You shall get pounced, I'm warning you! (Aka having a gently running Sara running at you for bigtime super duper hugs). I am SO excited.
Really? I had no idea! I take it you're attending one of the university-like schools in that area? If so, what are you studying? And how, out of all the places you could've ended up, did you land there?
I apologize for having missed your post before leaving. However, I'll likely be back in the area in the vicinity of Thanksgiving, if you feel the distinct need to come point and laugh at a crazy person.
Though I'm rather certain that the complimentary statements I'm about to make are nothing you haven't heard before, I'll make them anyway, because they're true. I enjoy your writing, and I find you to be one of the best writers of fanfiction I've ever read. Most of my experience in that area has been in sifting through hundreds of pages of wasted ink, in the hopes of finding one good story, and one of those precious few good stories was yours. Your writing in general is good, all the way to your journal entries. I enjoy reading your thoughts in whatever form they may be. Also, as an extension of your writing, your protective, caring

It was an almost completely uneventful trip in both directions, save one idiot each way that caused a moment of concern. One little plastic Honda decided to pull out from a dead stop in front of me, while I was doing about 30. It's a good thing I feathered off the throttle in anticipation of his idiot maneuver...
And Sara and I almost were sideswiped by a guy who thought it would be a great idea to take his half of the road right out of the middle. I leaned over enough that he was able to regain lane position without incident, but unfortunately she was a bit concerned by it.
Now, as for you...
You've done remarkably well in holding things together despite the darkest and most evil elements of this world and their best efforts to the contrary. However, we both know that there is still work to be done, that there are still demons to be conquered (and when are there ever not?), should you wish to do so

In formulating my response, I am increasingly finding that I regret not having gotten to know you better, as you really seem to be quite a decent person, though I haven't interacted with you nearly as much as I would have liked, all things considered.
However, there is one thing that strikes me clearly about your character. You have been faced with many difficulties, and despite all that has happened, despite everything this world has thrown at you to slow you down, you seem to be remarkably courageous in rising to meet it and vanquish it. Yes, things may be difficult, and yes, it is good to rely on your friends during those times (I only wish I could be more useful in this respect...), but I know that, no matter what happens, your courage will see you through, and you'll be well.
I was about to send you a Happy Holidays e-mail, and I thought, "Perhaps I should check if he's updated!" Heh. *loses*
And complement! I probably say this every time I talk to you, but you=awesome. I haven't been as conscientious a friend as I should have when it comes to you, and I am definitely sorry about that. But, we've both been busy. I won't hound you with apologies cause I know you'll try to apologize more even though you're the busier one! :)
