Hahaaa. Hey, it's part of the love- we can see it coming a long way off, yet you'll surprise us with something not quite exactly what we were expecting.

Oh, besides, i have no real idea of the exactness of how they'll finally blurt it out to each other anyway! (I'm just really looking forward to it)

Poor Kris - being in that room must have been like seeing your own grave. I'm really liking her too - much more than I did in the series. She's more human here.

Happy to hear you like Kochanski! I think in the series Chloe suffered from being pulled in as both a substitute for the original actress AND a substitute for Rimmer (I could write a couple of paragraphs about that last one alone *G*). TBH, I'm surprised anyone liked her at all (including me) given those circumstances.

Sometimes my friend, that's when we're the most lucid, isn't it? ;-)

I really like this bit of the fic - where the truth starts to creep out from the cracks. Really lovely.

Ugh...reading about the wine-drinking when I have a wine-induced hangover isn't really helping though... ;-)

I would say that's your specialty, too, from what I've read. There's something at once painful and charming about it, despite the poor boy's efforts to keep things on the down-low - or perhaps because of that. :-)

Why thank you kindly *tips hat* ^__^

I like writing that gets across what's not said - encouraging people to read between the lines, and pick up clues from the character action description, just as if it were a TV show or movie. You guys are very good at that - lifting the whole thing off the page.

The only answer she got was a soft, nasal snore. Arnold J. Rimmer was dead to the world.

aww I can so see that.

Yay for double entendres! *G*

(He is so cute to watch sleep; much of the reason I like "The Last Day" so much, hee.)
