Kieran, like all our male grandchildren, can be a little gentleman at times. Through our eyes we readily perceive the difference between those who have God-given good looks and those who are not as fortunate.

Although we are thankful that we don't have physical deformities, we know that good looks can be lost through misfortunes of many types.

We defend each other as well as those who are less fortunate. It's the American way. It's the human way.
