I read this on ff.net too, and I love this story so much.

I can picture Sam getting so drunk that he was thrown out of a bar. (I'm still wondering why no one's bringing up the fact that a drunk Sam obviously drove the Impala to see the Crossroads Demon. He could barely walk, but yet he's driving?)

Leaving Bobby because he loves him and everyone he loves dies is so sad, and something Sam would think.

Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Thank you for the review. I too wondered how Sam drove when he was trashed. Drinking and driving is a no-no . . .

I really enjoyed this. I lurk around a lot and have been reading all the wacky posts about Sam and Ruby and the wrongness in that. I see it just the way you wrote it. The guy would be so screwed up that I can see him doing all kinds of stupid things. And would it be better for him to turn into a love em and leave em Dean clone? It wouldn't be in character. No, I see him angry and thinking just the way you wrote him.
Oh, yeah, and he's got demon blood in him, too. That makes Ruby more his kind than the local waitress living the apple pie life.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!! Glad to see some people aren't all whacked out!!

Well, I can't promise I'm not whacked out, but the idea of Sam & Ruby as real lovers? Blech! I consider this story to be my form of brain bleach!
