Keeping the Request Post Organized

We've had such a great response in the request post -- we're already on page 11!

Right now, we are screening filled requests in an effort to make it easier to find unfilled requests. However, because there's so many requests and fills being made, zelda suggested that we start deleting filled requests. This would hopefully make it even easier to fill ( Read more... )

I think deleting makes sense :) That's got to be the easiest way to do it, after all.

I kind of like having all the comments there -- that sort of warm glow of watching fandom being nice :-) Plus, you know, 14 pages!

So... I'm kind of voting for the screening and against deletion. If we run out of comments (though 5000 possibly not happening all that soon) someone can start a new post. (Also, very odd to post a comment and see previous comments suddenly appearing as screened. Vaguely like being stalked, but in a good way *g*).

That's what I was thinking originally as well, but it looks like there's a strong vote for deleting. I'll keep waiting for more feedback before we make a final decision.

Just some input from the "kiddy patrol" on JF, having the original requests for a journal with the age indicated would be a big help to us if there's ever a problem.
