Yep, I am writing.

And yes, that is a Fallout 3 reference in my icon.

So here's a snippet for you guys, some characters in my vampire novella(?). Warning: Hot vampire sex will ensue at some point.

General Point: The Family is in no way a reference to Addams' or some mafia. It's just the wayward lostboys (ahem, and girls) group that meshed together.

Die Regency - His name is a sarcastic self-reminder where he is from, and his real name is something he would not permit anyone (except Spock [see below] to know, since she has his birth certificate). Born from early Regency era Caernarvonshire, England made way to America roughly around 1825. He died in the Seneca Village fire of 1835 at the age of 20. He's a hardass, mostly found reading or on the internet, and hates "vampyres", furries, and Twilight.
Quotes: "Hey, hey, guess what!" Styx tugged on Die's arm.
               "What?" Die grumped.
"The internet is for porn!" Styx squealed and jumped up and down in place, still grasping Die's arm.
"I should have never, ever shown you that video."

Margaret "Spock" Austen - A member of the Vegan Society (UK) in 1990, 26 year old Margaret was a biology student in University of Cambridge an comes from Leeds, England. She came to America soon after her turning back in 1990, and has evidence of hideous hair from the 80's somewhere in a shoebox. She's the unofficial "surgeon" and self-proclaimed historian and pathologist of Vampires. She maintains her veganism through a spirulina shake mixed with cultured white blood cells and crushed vitamin b12.
Quotes: (1)"What is that?" asked (un-named victim)
"It's the after-remains of a vampire after exposure to sun." Margaret pushed her thick cat-eye glasses up the bridge of her nose
                     haughtily.
"Hey, here's a joke for you. How do you perform an autopsy on the undead?" Die turned to (noname) with a smirk.
                     "Uh..."
Styx suddenly appeared with her head peeking over Die's shoulder, "You don't! It's a pain in the ash!"

(2)"Is it still vegan if I just take a sip of his blood?"

Styx (?) - A very..unusual character. Somewhat inspired by Hannelore from Questionable Content, though instead of a Worry Hat she is wearing a "lumberjack hat" made of fauxfur because Spock would have gone AR on her ass. She was found by Die and Overlord's father in the late 60's, boarded up in a basement with prolonged starvation from blood. Most suspect that's what caused her slight OCD/Beautiful Mind like behavior. She dresses eccentricly, wears the hat even in bed, and uses the original vampire communication by Carrier Pigeon, which makes some question how old she really is. She often talks like a walking LOLcat, and seems Die is most tolerable of her.
Quotes: (1) "Why is she named Styx?"
"No I.D on 'er." Overlord shrugged nonchalantly and flipped through his Tomb Raider comic.
"She was so near death, that it looked like she was floating down a river," explained Die, "so she was named after the river of
                     death."
                (2) "What happened, Styx?" Die sighed, shutting his laptop closed.
"The videogame box. It won't work. I bited it, and bited it again, but it won't work." pouted Styx.

Red "Overlord" Johnson - The hunkiest comic-book D&D geek to date. Texas-panhandle drawl and a taste for hot women in spandex (the comics, dummies, not BDSM). He is only just taller than Die, but more muscular. While he should have been spending his time passing QB throws and getting first downs, he was actually quite the punky goth who got too-close for comfort at a Dragoncon event in the 1991. His family is well-known amongst the vampire underground, and Die personally knows his parents. After his parents found out he was turned, they turned to Die for help, who begrudgedly did so. The story starts with Overlord dragging the gang to a con, for easy pickings, and potential vintage Spiderman posters.
Quotes:  "What's furries? Is that like a Fury?" Styx looked up from the program booklet while the trio walked along the artificially lit ground
                 floor of the con.
"Much worse, Styx. Instead of angry dead, they are angry alive people who dress up like animals." Die tried not to grit his teeth as
he spoke, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"Hey, you got admit, that yiff-shit is a great fuck.", beamed Overlord.
"I'll start calling you Gaylord again." Die glared, his tone threatening even with the ridiculous statement.
