It says "the version of the hardware is not compatible."

硬件 = ying4 jian4 = hardware
版本 = ban3 ben3 = version/edition
不 = bu4 = not
兼容 = jian1 rong2 = compatible

Not sure what your friend is doing (downloading something?), but hope this helps! :)
