Today has been one of those days where right from the beginning I had a list of things that I wanted to write about here.  Not for any particular reason though, just because there are several ideas tickling my mind that I want to share.  :D

American Idol-  Is it just my imagination, or is this show presenting a larger number of bad auditions than ( Read more... )

3, 4, or 5 I think! I'm not the hugest fan of the 20's style one though, but I've got hips wider than the Titanic...

About saying something mean - good grief dear, you're human :) It's hard not to make mistakes some times. I don't know a good solution for it, granted, but the best I could think of would be to be extra nice to them in the future.

I don't have wide hips, but I have a belly, and I worry that that would eccentuate my belly more than is good.

About the mean thing, yeah, I know. I would just feel so bad to find out that he'd heard me and I hurt this really kind person. Yuck! It's a lesson to me. I need to stop being so critical of others.

We took two Carnival cruises. The first was the eastern CArribean: Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands, American Virgin Islands. The second one was the Bahamas(it was a shorty).

You know, I actually think #2 might look less dumpy on someone less skinny. Some things work out that way. #3 is just plain adorable, and certainly seems like a winner. #4 is actually called Empire waist, not princess seamed. It does look easier to make, and it's nice, but it doesn't strike my eye the way some of the others do. #5 is nice, too. You could certainly try to make the V in some other fabric, but it's actually just underlined and stitched, so you'd have to alter the pattern and it might not hang properly. To play up the V in a similar way, you might try adding some wide ribbon or something as an accent, and just sewing it on top of the fabric. #6 I really like, and it actually should be much easier to sew than it looks in the photo. I think I'm too busty to wear it well, though--I don't know how it would look on you. As for #1, I agree with you that it might not fit your body type, but I really really want it for myself. It's gorgeous! Oh, if only I had places to wear all these formal gowns I want to make!
