Robbed.

We were robbed Friday. Between the hours of 9:30 and 4 someone snuck in our house way out in the country, grabbed a knife and crept down the hall checking the rooms to make sure no one was home. They took nearly every single one of my favorite things. My grandmother's antiques, my antiques, my sewing machine and my mother's serger that I was using

It seems so odd, they would take things that were more sentimental than valuable (I mean, the sewing machine/serger... but leaving behind an xbox?).

I'm seconding this. It had to be someone that knows you're there. A very odd robber would be one that would only take the sentimental.

also serious -hugs-. I just got my own Janome baby and can not imagine losing her.
