General update
House is over 50% unpacked. Mostly at the point of unpacking books and games and doing a secondary cull. Mostly failing on culling books. I keep finding things that I'm glad I saved ( Read more... ) -

You know it's been insanely hot for way too long when you think your house is freakin' cold in the morning, get up and look at the thermostat, and it reads 74°.

It's a lot easier to schlep stuff in a bigger car. *sigh* Tercel is bitty.
I think I'm about 1/3-1/2 the way done for emptying the apartment of the stuff we need to get over to the house. Is difficult being between places.

We're closing on the house today. Yay!

My car's check-engine light came on Sunday. I brought it in today, and it's got a plugged catalytic converter. $1680 to repair.

I guess we're getting a new car, too. /:
