This was absolutely fascinating. Galen's anger is such a part of him that crept up throughout the show, and seeing it treated seriously as a genuine flaw is just amazing. I really enjoyed this, with all it's darkness and the bit of hope at the beginning. Lovely work!

What lls_mutant said about Galen's anger. Wrath doesn't just steal reason. In the Christian ethos wrath is considered a sin, because it steals God's judgment and replaces it with man's. I love how you played with the notion without actually saying it.

I'll admit, wrath as a cardinal sin wasn't at the top of my head when I was writing this - I just pictured Galen drowning his sorrows circa S4.5, trying to figure out what the frak's wrong with him and everyone around him, and simply ran with it. *blushes* But given his religious "background," I'd imagine Chief would have come to that same conclusion were he a little more sober and less hung up on Boomer and being a Cylon. Thanks for pointing that out!

Galen isn't a character I've done too much introspection with (or read fic for) and this was fabulous.
