The White Box

Good news for US Ab Fab addicts: The White Box, a stand-alone episode from 2005 featuring the return of Max and Bettina and a guest role for Nathan Lane, is scheduled for DVD release in October. I'm guessing the disc will include another stand-alone show done as a special in, I think, '06.

I have never seen a single episode of abfab. MAybe now's my chance. ;-)

Oh! um, well... you might want to check one out from the library first. Some people just don't care for it. My roomie initially detested the show, but years later I happened to have one on and he become completely engrossed in it--to the point of watching the first 2 seasons practically in one gulp over a weekend.

I sort of think of the premise of the show as "I Love Lucy meets Auntie Mame"--as performed by women who probably secretly wish they were drag queens. It's definitely not for all tastes...

It was the central character of Edy who I initially detested, until I started watching the show and found that she was, well, purposefully detestable... *g*
