Bad Dream Bandwagon

The problem with creeping around dark, forgotten places is that they're often hot as well. Which makes one drowsy. It was just supposed to be a brief foray to check on some things, but after a long day of dealing with petty annoyances the lure of quiet, dark, alone was too much. It's not even as if comfort were an excuse. There was nothing of comfort to the spot unless you counted the lack of noise and people. Sleep, better to do it in your bed, but sometimes you just need to rest your eyes for a few seconds.

And those few seconds turn into minutes and before you know it the world jerks you back into it and you're gasping for breath and unable to think. The darkness that was so inviting is not anymore and Miniyal starts, wide awake and peering into that familiar darkness. Without thinking she moves back towards more populated tunnels. As she listen for footsteps her breathing returns to a more even normal pace. Wiping the tears from her eyes as she steps out of shadowed darkness to move back into society is such a usual occurance it doesn't even bear mentioning.
