Hi gang! TOTALLY excited.
1. Name: Jacquie. Also known as Stagey in some circles.
2. Age (no one under 13, please): 20.
3. Location: Currently at college (James Madison U.) in Virginia.
4. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: Spirited, well-read, and curious.
5. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: Often lazy, impatient, and passive.
6. What is the significance/meaning/derivation of your username?: Nothing too elaborate: enchanted is just a pretty word, and stagey is a nickname I've accumulated over time.
7. What is your favourite historical era, and why? I love colonial-America style-- mid-1700's. When I'm not at school, I live close to Williamsburg. Very pretty historical place an' all that.
8. What historical, mythological, or legendary character do you most identify with, and why? I find myself identifying with Queen Esther (from the Old Testament book of the same name). She seemed like such a class act, and she was devoted in every aspect of her life. I always imagined her to be quite a beauty, inside and out.
9. Favourite three books (exclude any based on musicals or that musicals are based on): The Other Boleyn Girl. The Prestige (can't wait for the movie this month!). Wuthering Heights.
10. Favourite three movies (exclude any based on musicals or that musicals are based on): American Psycho. Legally Blonde. Pirates of the Caribbean. (This was especially hard since just about any movie has been made into a musical.)
11. Do you have any creative talents?: Who, me? Psh. Well, I do knit. And I'm quite good at Photoshop. And I'm a bit theatrical.
12. Sing us a song (that isn't from a Broadway musical): You grew up way too fast, now there's nothing to believe // Re-runs all become our history // A tired song keeps playing on a tired radio // And I won't tell no one your name // I won't tell 'em your name.
13. Anything else we should know?: I'm quite the fanatic of Christian Bale and probably will be for quite some time. I'm also a member of a National Panhellenic sorority: Delta Gamma. :)
