Oh, God... It's both hilarious and kind of horrifying. XD Poor Tolstoy. It kinda reminds me when I watched the "Onegin" with Liv Tyler and the first reaction was "AHAHAHA" and then bam! I was a ball of rage.

I know what you mean re Onegin! It was, IDK, dismaying how it was possible to follow the plot and be superficially true to the original, and yet produce something that had none of its spirit :(
