Ohh, really? Thanks so muchly :) I'll just poke at it some more and then I'll send it to you, if that's OK.

The others I'm working on are raon 21 and Rockabilly Coiffure from the store. But I'm actually looking at just about every hair from the store. Some are easier to convert than others, though.

They look really good, the hat one is my favorite of the two. I'm impressed that you are converting any sims 3 hairs at all. I would also like to ask which other hairs you are working on, there are some I've been wishing existed in sims 2, but my meshing skills are non-existent.

It took me a long while to figure out how go about extracting the meshes, and it's still a pain to do so :) But I always need new hair meshes and since I can't actually mesh, well, this seems like the perfect solution :)
The other hairs I'm currently working on are raon 21 and rockabilly coiffure.
What hairs where you hoping for? I have to admit that I don't really know about TS3 hairs, just the ones that were requested and the ones from the store..

Oh man. I didn't even think about the rockabilly male hair, but I will keep an eye on that request for sure. I love that hair. I downloaded a bunch of store hairs for my TS3 game, but TS3 doesn't run great on my computer, so it's more often than not just not worth the time to load it.

The two hairs I've had had an eye on, I'm going to feel really stupid if they already exist, but since they are both maxis-made, I doubt it.

There's one from the base game that you can see on the first sim here. Something similar may already exist for TS2, but I don't know of it. I just think the assymmetrical bits are great.
I also really like this store hair.

I don't even have ts3 installed on my computer. And I don't think the hairs you'd like have been converted, mainly because I don't think there's anyone out there converting hairs besides myself.
Wouldn't you say these and these kind of look like the first hair? I'd love to convert the femme hawk, but it might be a tricky one..

Oh these look really nice. I can't wait to see them finished. I fail at almost everything to do with hair barring quick mesh fixes and simple recolors, so I am very impressed by these :)

Well, most of the work has been done by others, obviously. All I have to do is try and fit them onto a sims2head :)
