Last Night I Saw Her Dance

I went to the Orange County Performing Artscenter Fall for Dance program last night. It showcased 5 dance companies, national and international, each presenting a short piece. She looks amazing, just by the picture.
Absolutely stunning line.

I could say the same for Ulyana Loptkina, whom I saw last night.
Though, she may not be 5'11", she was rather statuesque herself.
I adore her.

I love Ulyana; you are so lucky to see her perform! What ballet did you see, and where?

She is absolutely incredible; I have never seen another ballerina move the way she does, or dance with such passion. When she dances she is so beautiful it is hard to forget that she is human like us and not from another world. She is one of the few dancers to move me to tears with her dancing.

She's also very tall; 5'9" or 10" I believe.

I was moved to tears with her dancing too. Especially when she did The Death of a Rose and the Dying Swan. Her movements are indescribable.

About 8 soloists from the Mariinsky Ballet were in town for a weekend. They participated in Da:ns 2007 here in Singapore. They did a collection of pas de deuxes and solos.
