Why thank you.

Niou-san, thank you for your nomination but please note I'm 53 years old and I'm the judge of the competition. I would have to ask you to desist. Flattery gets you nowhere.

Regarding our Charity Ball on the 28th June, please note all staff are to be ready by noon and assembled in Employees Central. Tickets have been sold out and we're expecting gatecrashers, security and events team should take note. We've found under-aged guests in the last round and would like not to have a repeat of such carelessness. The main highlight is of course the Mr LA Beauty-Brains-Brawn competition. Please be generous and cast your votes accordingly. Do note, you may only vote a maximum of 3 times for the same person. Some votes have already come in from your clients and guests. On behalf of management, I must say I'm rather pleased at the pre-event funds we raised.

Aside, it is my utmost regret to inform you that L'Atobe hostels have failed a safety check due to structural faults in the initial planning and the building is to be demolished in a month's time. Due to time and resource constraints, all staff shall move to our 未来庭園 (mirai teien/garden of the future) - the Japanese styled hostel village by July 21st. It used to be our summer houses for casual guests and is currently undergoing renovations to fit modern living. It shall be the permanent living quarters for all L'Atobe staff and it is recommended that all staff stay in.

13 traditional Japanese houses in a semi-circle surround a strolling garden connected to the main L'Atobe building. A tea house pavilion connected by a bridge - the centerpiece of the garden is open to public. Each house has 2 spacious bedrooms which can accommodate up to 3 person per room, a common sitting area, single shower facility and kitchenette. The houses sit side by side. There are no front gates but there are small front yards with your house name. All houses are named after flowers according to the garden theme, i.e. Sakura, Ume, Kiku.

All houses are checked by security team on a monthly basis to ensure no damage to the property. As there are no rentals charged, property damage is fined accordingly. Monthly reports will be issued to let the staff know about fines and will be automatically deducted from your paychecks. Residents may share the fine, depending on the damage or the causality. More details will be issued in our upcoming brochure.

Nevetheless that should not be your first concern now. We have a major Charity event to coordinate. I will not tolerate half-heartedness. All focus should be to make it an unforgettable evening for the guests. Pull some weight and let's get things moving. I'll need all hands on board.

Any issues, direct it to Keigo. He's been uncharacteristically detached. I don't need a figurehead if you didn't realise by now. That is all.

Itteyosh.
