I've always found this hair so lovely and simple :) And I've always thought it was such a shame that it was only for adults. But, no longer! I've used my awesome new conversion skills, et voila!
Anywho, the amazing retexture was done by niloublue, here. And the original mesh by sims2cri can be found here.
I used these colors for the replacements:

Also, how awesome is that polycount? It's actually lower than the hair it's replacing! Awesomesauce!

Totally forgot to mention this: There's also a hair that looks exactly like this one, only it has a crown. Because of EAxis mixing up the txmt files, when I changed the textures for this replacement, the crown hair used those textures as well. Therefor I've included hiders for that hair with the download, so it won't show up.
I don't think there's a way to have both this replacement and the crown hair in your game, but if your heart is set on both, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
