When you compose a post, but it doesn't post due to varnish errors, so you've lost it. You vent your frustrations to a new (private) post, then realize that the "post" button is grayed out because it's the "new" version of the posting page, which is frequently screwy for you. So you hit "switch to old version"... and lose the second post ( Read more... )

Lesson learned: Always copy and paste your post into notepad before hitting the post button.

Even worse, that first post came OUT of notepad, but I was being cocky and closed it before the post was finishing failing /o\. Usually I make sure I copy and keep it open, just in case, having lost the buffer before like this. Lesson learned again!

Indeed. Oh, and your post! I laughed so hard whilst reading your sad, funny, and frustrating post about getting olive oil everywhere <3. We are... laughable creatures, but at least we're usually the first to laugh at our frustrations :D.
