Fic, and more DVD hijinks.

A smooch to guede_mazaka for her lovely drabble "Mark of the Beast", which not only is in my favorite series of hers, the emotional-rollercoaster run-don't-walk "Restraint," but is also a follow-up to one of my favorite scenes.

You're v. welcome.

Have you seen all the featurettes yet? The one about the 'body' special effects was amusing; a matador complaining that his replacement dummy's family jewels are too small. Which just highlights how odd El is in comparison to the norm for men in Mexico. I get the impression he couldn't care less about whether he looks macho enough. Even though he does.

That's in the SFX featurette, right? Only seen the first few minutes of that so far. I love how-they-did-it stuff like that.

Hadn't given much thought to the El-and-machismo thing. You mean the way he doesn't seem to go in for posturing? He sure makes it look effortless, doesn't he...

Yeah, no posturing like Sands (though that little twit makes it look too amusing).

Incidentally, the 'Restraint' muses roared back to life. Check back in a few hours for fic.

Great to hear--I'll be sure to check it out.

Incidentally, I'm, er, going to skip over your poly fics and catch up with some of your more recent stories. My apologies in advance. I'm annoyed when readers do that to me, and I know I'm likely missing some great stuff, but poly is just one of those categories I've never been able to successfully read. It bounces right off the retinas.
