Rock Paper Salt

Trying out a different paper-cutting technique today.

Sam and Dean Winchester from a single continuous piece of paper.

Thumbnail:

Got some new paper recently thanks to aeroferret who's enabling my crafting habit and since it's a little thicker than what I've been using (just plain printing paper), it led me to think about what else I could do dimensionally. It's a bit different from my recent Sherlock Holmes cuts.

So I decided to see if I could cut two silhouettes from one sheet (which is sitting atop my sketchbook).

And since I've been catching up with SPN S4 this week...

Some more pics in different light:

Sam is 6 3/4" tall.

The paper is still a bit too thin to stand up on its own even with the folding (had to prop it from behind to make it stand away from the sketchbook), but for a first go at this sort of thing I'm pretty happy with it.
