Thanks! There was a lot of "check five times, cut once" going on :-)

Holy shit, that is STUNNING.

Wow. How long have you been doing this sort of thing? I'm itching to pick up a craft knife and have a go now. So beautifully effective!

Thanks so much!

How long have you been doing this sort of thing?

It's kind of hard to say...That pink craft knife is about 15 years old but it's not like I used it continuously...just here and there for various things. More recently I used it to cut the paper patterns for some of my cushions (the rectangular ones with the silhouettes), but those are less detailed. As for how long I've been doing this kind of cutting, where it's a whole scene just in paper...uh, since Saturday :-)

Definitely go do some! Have you done a lot of cutting before?

That's amazing! His hair and the violin are just fantastic.

Thank you! I loved getting to do his hair after having to squint so much at the violin :-)

Thanks very much! I hadn't really done much with paper since last winter so it's great working with it again...and with new inspiration to boot.

That's just gorgeous.
I'd have been terrified of accidentally cutting through or tearing his shoulder off.

Thank you!

Yeah, I shift the paper around a lot while cutting, so snagging his shoulder was a distinct possibility. But Sherlock emerged victorious and unscathed.
