i think that what happened on the panel is unlikely to happen at wiscon. the part with the entitled guy can happen anywhere, but if it happens to you at wiscon, i've got your back.

A panel on Frankenstein with only one woman on it!

I have basically at this point (esp. after FogCon, where it happened by accident) decided to refuse to ever be the only woman on a panel, ever, with the possible exception of if I'm moderating.

Looks like the ReaderCon concomm is taking good steps to prevent this kind of crap in the future, at least.
