chicago people, here's the program for our march 4th concert--i would love it if you can come to this--i can't tell you how much fun we're having singing all this great music

I mean, I wish I could be singing it, too, but I wouldn't want to give up the three programs left for the season with Young New Yorkers' Chorus: a new Symphony by Mohammed Fairouz in February, a concert of JS Bach and Arvo Part in March, and Carmina Burana in June.... So I reckon I can't pick up so much other music as well. Plus the flights from Chicago to NYC late every Monday night would kill me dead.
Still, your concert looks so amazingly exciting! Give love to everyone (James, Rani, Jill, etc.) for me!

I recognize three of these selections (Sicut Cervus, Bogoroditse Devo, and Adonai Ro`i) as songs we've sung in my church choir.
Re: Adonai Ro`i: fiddle with a vowels a bit and the first line becomes "Adonai ra`i la akhsar", Arabic for "Adonai is my shepherd; I shall not lose."

I pointed a friend of mine from England who'll be in Chicago that weekend to this entry. Hope that's ok.
