i'm cutting up old pairs of pantyhose to use as replacement stuffing for a pillow that has lost a great deal of its original stuffing, and i'm using the wrong kind of scissors.
maybe ball 'em up, shape the multiple balls of nylon mesh into cushion=shape, then a couple of stitches here and there to abort any "lets all go huddle in one corner" maneuvers on the part of the hosiery?
well i'm done with the cushion now. but i wanted something that felt more like a cushion and less like a thing with wads of fabric in it, if that makes any sense? anyway, it feels the way i wanted it to, but my god cutting that stuff up was a pain. i have done this before with the other scissors--i just need to find where they wandered off to.

Surely your office has a paper-cutter? Even if you get caught, will anyone be brave enough to call you on it?

i have sewing scissors, i just couldn't find them and foolishly thought any old pair would do the trick.
