*sniffle* King of the 80s teen movies. I completely adored Pretty in Pink - it came out at a time when I was struggling with the fact that I just did not fit in with the default culture of my peer group (and didn't *want* to fit in), and that film helped me get my head around the concept that being different could be way cooler, and It Was Okay To Be Me.

(And you know about my readhead fetish, so I don't need to tell you all about my Molly Ringwald crush...)
