i was reading an old LJ entry and realized that i started thinking about replacing my 93 corolla wagon at least in 2002. (i just finally replaced it this year.)
And, by so doing, you now have a six-year-newer car, for a cost increase that's pretty much only the amount you spent on repairs of the Corolla in those years.
Probably a good deal, I'm guessing? (Well, I guess the other part is that you ended up driving the Corolla instead of a newer car for those six years, which may be counted as a cost....)
