Enzan, coming home from school, snuck up behind him and slipped his arms around ProtoMan's shoulders. "What's wrong?"

ProtoMan almost yelped indignantly but decided that wouldn't be fitting, so he just huffed and turned around. "I can't find LC. He said he'd be hanging around here, but I've looked all over and he's not anywhere."

ProtoMan had better get used to hugs, because that's what Enzan was good for.

"He left? Without his teleporter?" Enzan frowned. Portals in RV weren't very common.

Being in the real world in itself was something he had to get used to.

"Good," ProtoMan went rummaging in the closet and managed to dig out a shoebox, then poked a few airholes with his sword and put the wriggling snake in. Totally not telling Enzan that the reptile would end up in his bed and not Dark Blues's.

And if no one in the house wanted the snake after this, then when LC got back they would have a pet, like it or not.
