Buddy took Tabby to the vet yesterday to be put to permanent sleep, and he said she died in his arms while waiting to be done. I hope she's chasing butterflies with her sister, Kitty. Tabby was 17 years old. She never seemed to be in pain...just worn out. I'm sad but relieved. I don't think I'll try to do hospice again.

Buddy and I went to the Bluebell Ice Cream Factory today. We toured and then had a very generous scoop of ice cream. YUM!!! We had a perfectly wonderful day looking for antique shops and found a nursery where they were growing tomatoes in greenhouses and we got to pick our own. YEA!! Amy, Laura and I went to Super Suppers and made six dinners to bring home and freeze. We had a really good time. They had free wine!! Laura now knows how to "braid". Neato. I finished the sewing project last week. I was going to give it to a friend for Christmas, but it didn't turn out good enough for a Christmas present. So, we're going to lunch this week sometime and I'll give it to her as a whatever day we go surprise. The surprise is whether or not it will fit. I'm just not a sewer.
