Good question! I myself do not know yet. It is a dowry chest, so I assume some pretty linens, maybe jewerly. There is a wedding dress hidden also, because the Queen showed it to him before. What should I put into that chest? Any suggestions?

Pocky, strawberry and chocolate... sorry coudn't help the joke...
Linens, jewelry, some money perhaps. But since it's sort of a sister-to-sister gift; items that might create a home. A vase for flowers, the wedding dress, a blanket for two, baby items... how big is this chest anyway?
Now that I think about it in my story there's a chest too... maybe I will fill it with candy and soju... *off to check what can be given away in dowry*

Thanks. It is an interesting phenomenon to me - you post something and if there are no comments, you wonder - do people read? But I myself is guilty of not always commenting, so I understand. Yes, the stories are the same and at FF.net, but I figured I post at both sites, doesn't hurt.
I saw your profile and description of you novel on NanoSite - exciting.
By the way, where do you find Beta for your novel. I know a professional journalist and a few people who have good enough English, but there is no way I'm going to ask them to read my stuff, I'm not that good.

I do not have a professional editor even though I know work colleagues but they are not proficient enough in English. My best friend who also studied English Literature is doing the honours. I also beta for her so we are familiar with each other's writing styles. It is really a matter of someone you trust and who knows what you want to express , and has a good knowledge of grammar- so you don't need a professional to beta/edit/review for you. Except when you want to seriously shop your story around for publishing, then a professional editor would be helpful.

I hope I can send the NaNo novel to my friend by the end of the week, there are still some plot holes to be fixed as well as a couple of scenes to be added to make it flow more fluently. Hopefully by January I can post each chapter in my LJ.

Рада тебя слышать. Я занималась своей новеллой дла НаНо. У меня есть новая история про них, которую я выставила на пробу на ФанФикшон. Так что пока пишу потихоньку. Может ты мне сделаешь обложку для електронной книги? Конечно, если хочешь, и если есть время.
