I think a lot of people underestimate the time/effort because the dudes at the HD or store say it ought to be easy, when the fact is, that shit is hard! I just called my mom today bc there is wood under our ugly-ass vinyl siding and I want to rip it off. She used to paint houses for a living and always did her own repairs, so I wanted an honest assessment of how hard it is to pull siding, take care of wood, etc. It ain't easy, she said!
I could not IMAGINE doing a whole patio in a weekend. Who the hell am I? Bob fucking Vila?? So YOU GO BOYEE/GIRL!
My brother in law is a carpenter by trade and he STILL underestimates time and effort. I totally feel your pain about the patio. The good news is, all the hard work will make you really appreciate it when it's done.
i just found my list of house projects to do...and added a few things to it...and had a chat with Tracy about the best way to fix our lawn...and checked the calendar for my next available weekend...
