she says "that, and when peach season rolls around, i won't have the access that i'm used to." she grew up on a peach farm, y'see, and the peach farm had been a peach farm since the 50s or so, but the last peach tree was pulled up about 5 years ago due to old age. (she also can't post from work)
well, there's also another reason to cry about peaches:
most of the peach crops this season pretty much died out because of weather and what have you. a couple of crops managed to survive if only because those farms/orchards only had an 80-90% wipeout. this will be a pretty peachless season, it seems.
