SW In 3D shown to Spaniards!

TFN posted a report on an award ceremony in Zaragoza, Spain for Rick McCallum at the TEA07 conference. The most interesting part was this:

That "3D" sounds amazing! Hope we get to see it soon...maybe they will show it at C.E. - I'll let you know. Great to hear about the other films as well. There is a scene in "Fellowship of the Ring" I would *love* to see in 3D - the 'run-from-the-Balrog" sequence, where poor Gandalf falls from the bridge. Also, seeing those Ringwraiths flying out at you from the screen (from ROTK) will be fantastic!

It's amazing that they were really hopeful about this two years ago, then they were like "hmm, I don't know, maybe it'll be a long time" and now they're looking at getting all 6 SW converted in just two years. Wow.
