i think that when hobbies mutate into obsessions, a persons pathology can change quite a bit. being online doesn't make someones actions "less real". in fact, i think they end up feeding into any 'cyber egos' that might develop. the self proclaimed agitator takes so much pleasure in tormenting these half-wits, that they begin to question themselves on their online behaviors as opposed to how they might actually be in real life. as is the case with this particular individual.
