Icons : Questions. Need Help

Dear Friends List,

For these past days, I felt the need to improve my skills in the icon field, so both to organize my watch list and to motivate me I decided to create a place on LJ to stock my icons.

In consequence,I have some questions regarding icons journal and communities : I noticed that some people use communities and others journal to stock

I've got an icon/grafic journal and it's a community. I also have a fanfiction journal and that's a normal journal. The advantage of the community is, you don't have to log out and in... and out... and in if you want to read i. e. the locked posts on this journals flist. You can post as Lazure in this journal and in your icon community. ;-)

A community appears to be the easiest solution, thank you for the advice.

I agree with you there's no point having an icon journal if it's to post once a year. I really want to improve my icons and to apply at communities and having an icon journal motivates me to do so.About the locked post issue I haven't though about it. But I'm sure I won't lock my post.

I think I am going to go with the community like you said it's easier. Thank you for taking the time to answer !
