true that! But while I think you could argue raw Romney fleece at least smells and tastes deliciously of prey, why old lady pink binding thread?

because they know their humans will play with them when it happens, if only to grab the sad remains of the yarn out of their paws

Because... well, you know that kneading thing they do? Actually they're activating tiny knitting needles inside their innards when they do that; and the stuff they ate is being masterfully knitted into delicate pieces of cat-art. Understand? No wonder those kittens you hear about were upset when they lost their mittens, 'cause their mom had had to do some SERIOUS nomming and kneading to get the damn things done in the first place.

Cats are so insane. I was using the drawstring of my pajama pants as a playtoy for our cat, and the other day I went to grab it and IT'S HALF THE SIZE IT USED TO BE..... I really hope he didn't actually eat it.

REAL ANSWER: wool-sucking is sometimes a symptom of being weaned too early.

MORE LIKELY ANSWER: it is his life mission to make the human's life more interesting by destroying things.

he was at least three months old when we got him although he did take a while to get over regarding Oliver as if he was a Big Furry Mommy Thing.

BUT DON'T YOU THINK STANDING IN FRONT OF THE MONITOR PURRING WOULD MAKE THE HUMAN'S LIFE INTERESTING ENOUGH.
