It's-- like they don't understand that if a reader sees that the *author* doesn't respect the story, the reader probably isn't going to bother to read it.

nah, I think I misdid a K3tog somewhere and it's only a two row pattern, plus it will be toward the bottom, so I got it as unmuddled with the pattern as I could and I've done two rows since without muddling since, knock on wood.

well, the mood was kind of based on the song, where the singer is basically broken hearted and apathetic and it's in a sort of cheery, foxtrotish beat.
