(Some questions, though, from the idiotic brit.)
1) What colour are molasses? I know that it's like treacle, but is it eh clear, golden sugary- sweet treacle or the dark sticky sugary treacle?
2) Plain or self raising flour?
3) What in god's name is cornstarch?
4) Vanilla essence for the vanilla?
5) Instant coffee granule's or already made instant coffee?
6) Salted or unsalted butter?

3. Um. Uh. Corn flour? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornstarch
4. Yes, just regular ole vanilla extract although of course good quality is better.
5. Granules, I think, because he didn't mention adding them in with the butter and the butter is the only wet ingredient listed.
6. Either would be fine, I imagine, but I'd probably use unsalted.
