no, Ava's hat is done and it's not wool, it a cotton and wool blend that wouldn't take an acid dye well anyway.

I dunno, either hat or mitts. It's looking better now that it's dried but it is NOT PURPLE AND GREEN :[ which was the plan.

yeah, koolaid acts as an acid dye for protein fibres. And how, I ran this yarn under running water and the water came out clear. There's actual acid dyes that are presumably not um Red #40, but they're expensive and kind of scary to read the warnings for.

I um, will try to warn you if I wear something made with it.
