I know! I shouldn't complain, because I know I have more spoons than a lot of people but sometimes you look at people who have like, five drawers of the things and you think, goddammit just one. I just need one.

Just, uh, go and level in the Sochen Cave Palace for a while and then hack him to death. I think I was around level 31 or so the first time I attempted Ahriman and he was troublesome, but not impossible. On my second playthrough my party was at level 33 and Ahriman died without any trouble at all. Don't worry about Doom; if a character dies, just revive them with a Phoenix Down. (Make sure everyone knows Phoenix Lore.) Immobilize and Blind are probably bigger problems for you than Doom. Protect helps, if you have it. I can't really remember what spells you do or do not have at this point in time. ^^ I never used the "curing him to death" strategy, actually, as physical attacks work just fine on him ( ... )

As a random point: If the damned thing still wasn't dead, then hack hack hack and eat potions like candy, since at this point you have no MP.

Teach everyone Charge! It is your friend! Okay, so it won't restore enough for you to use quickenings again, but if you've no MP it usually leaves you enough to Cure-spam? And if it fails then "0 MP to 0 MP" doesn't seem like much of a change to me.
