Okay except for the beginning, that was REALLY gay.
And the character designs, especially Reks. That boy is even more gender-confused than Vaan and I've spent the last year or so accusing Vaan of being FTM.
Reks looks like somebody briefly allowed a yaoi mangaka to sneak into Yoshida's office and leave one of HER character designs (for a weepy uke) there, or something.
I actually am not finding the game particularly gay; we're about halfway in and I'm up to my eyebrows in ideas for crack het (and just plain crack) but not a tremendous amount of slashiness.
Isn't it the awesome? It's a new kind of gay that puts FFX to shame, me thinks. *ponders* At least it had Auron to ...kinda ease the gayness. In the 'at least there's a male who talks and acts and even looks like a male, but is most definitely gay' kind of way.
