Well, I wouldn't know about the Japanese or the English version, but in the French version of TRC Syaoran calls Fujitaka the equivalent for 'dad'. Or rather, the equivalent for both 'dad' AND 'daddy'.

And it actually works. Sounds pretty cute, as a matter of fact.
