TRAGIC, TRAGIC GEEKERY.

I sort of randomly decided to go to Barnes and Noble's Harry Potter party and got HBP.

See, Mom wanted me to return a book and I was there already and they were getting ready and I found out you could get a book even if you hadn't preordered it! And it was between being a tragic Potter nerd or er actually buying literature for once in my life.

and I find it especially sad that I think, let's do something wild and crazy! -- I know! I'll go hang out in a bookstore by myself surrounded by crowds of people hanging out and reading and waiting for the new Harry Potter!
....that is, sadly, exactly what I thought about my own Friday night. I so have not been awake for the last five hours finishing the book and getting as much caffiene into my system as possible in the process, really.

*maniac grin*

Nine am will be twenty four hours I've been awake! But I've almost finished the book, although I have to say it's kind of annoying being the sort of person who reads the beginning and then hops to the end and then flips through the middle for a bit before she settles down again.

Mr Rochester, who is one of those horrible characters that you spend all your time drooling gently over when you're reading the story, and put the book down and go "....what an ASSWIPE." And I still like him better than St John.

Oh totally, St John makes the guy look like an unmissable prize. Hell, St John makes ANYONE look good.

I keep having these persistent, wistful fantasies about removing the stick up his ass and then reinserting it. Violently. Until you can pull it out his mouth.
