I voted to wait for the 3-D one, but I'm going to have a VERY HARD TIME following my own advice because DAMN my lack of wifi connectivity pisses me off.

Ugh and the DSi is already so much nicer it's depressing. And Google is not coming up with a firm release date for NA on the 3DS either Q__Q

I know. But I will NOT buy them both, dammit all to hell and back around the thorn bush, because I do not want at all to spend that much money on a damn gaming thing.

But I know for a fact the next Professor Layton game is going to be 3-D dependent, and those games are my crack, so I'm gritting my teeth and bearing it.

It helps that I have stupidly wee hands and have trouble USING a DSi...but not as much as it ought.

Weirdly, I am still content with my ordinary old DS lite for now. I so rarely upgrade my platforms.

I don't do Wi-Fi stuff, though, because I don't actually KNOW people that nerd out over the same games I do. Perhaps my opinion is moot.

I'm wondering how the 3DS is going to work because I'm one of those people who has trouble with 3D movies, 3D TV, and worst of all those stupid stereophonic Magic Eye pictures.
